How do we use the personal data we collect?
Email is used to create a user account so that you can log in and the respective profile's progress is saved. Other information about you is used to be able to get in touch with you and manage your license.
When your account is used, we save the account's and the respective profile's interaction with Kattalo in order to monitor and improve our services. Interaction data is also used to measure progression and continuously give each profile the appropriate level of challenges. Anonymized statistical data can also be used to follow up and improve our services in general.
The profile's date of birth is used to customize the content and for statistics.
We use modern and encrypted information technology, and we have routines to ensure confidentiality. The personal data that is collected is stored and processed in Sweden in accordance with GDPR and Schrems II. Sensitive information such as passwords are stored with modern and secure encryption. We continuously take the measures that may reasonably be required to ensure that your personal data is processed securely and in accordance with this privacy policy and GDPR. However, it is important that you also take responsibility for ensuring that your data is protected. It is your responsibility, for example, to ensure that your login details are kept secret.
How do we store the personal data we collect?
We save your personal data as long as you use Kattalo and two years after the end of the subscription. After that, your personal data is anonymized and all data that identifies you is deleted. In the event that the law requires it, we may have to save certain information for a longer period of time, and we may also save information if it is necessary to fulfill our contract with you.
